The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast is an institution recognized by the Italian government which collaborates closely with the Consulate General of Italy in Coral Gables.
As a point of reference for the Italian-American business community, the IACC is increasingly involved in institutional, educational, commercial and recreational missions in the Southeast. The IACC regularly organizes networking events intended to facilitate business interaction among the Italian and local business community.

Marine industry, logistics, aviation, information technologies... Broward County offers a wide range of business opportunities that many Italian companies, such as Mapei, Beghelli, Astaldi, Trend, Azimut - Benetti, Ferretti Group, among others have already take on.
As a result of this ongoing relationship, the Consulate General of Italy, the IACC and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance organized last June 4th a whole day of seminars and meetings with representatives of Italian companies and Broward business leaders and local authorities such as the Deputy Director of the Port Everglades, Mr. Glenn Wiltshire; the Deputy Director of the Aviation Department, Mr. Izzy Bonilla, and the County Mayor, Mr. John Rodstrom Jr.
Italy's Consul General, Hon. Adolfo Barattolo, who was honored with the Key of the City, highlighted the importance of fostering collaboration among Italian and Florida entities in order to facilitate trade and investments not only in the region but also in Latin American markets. Fort Lauderdale, with its free trade zones and incentive plans, is an ideal platform for international businesses.
The IACC collaborates shoulder by shoulder with the Grater Fort Lauderdale Alliance in order to provide professional assistance to any Italian company willing to explore trade and investments opportunities in Broward County.
